These terms cover your use of Prompt2Res, a tool that generates ISF shader files for Resolume Arena. It is run by Harry Taylor, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Contact: support@prompt2res.com.
You describe a look, or paste a Shadertoy shader, and the service writes an ISF shader and previews it in your browser. You can download the result as a Resolume Wire patch or as a bare ISF file. The four library shaders are free to download without an account.
Without an account you can run three generations a day. An account lifts that to a fair-use limit and comes with five free credits. We may withhold free credits from accounts that appear to be duplicates, and we may close accounts that abuse the service.
Downloading or viewing the code of a generated shader costs one credit. A credit is only spent after the shader has compiled in your browser. If a generation fails to compile, no credit is spent. Once you have paid for a shader, downloading it again is free for as long as your account exists. Credits never expire, are not refundable once spent, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
Everything you download is yours. You may use it commercially, at paid shows, in recorded work, and in anything else you like, with no attribution required. We keep a copy of shaders you have paid for so you can download them again. We do not claim any rights in them.
Shadertoy conversion is provided for personal use. Most Shadertoy work is published under a licence that does not permit commercial use, and it is your responsibility to check the original licence before using a converted shader at a paid event.
Shaders are written by a language model. We check that they compile in your browser, but we cannot promise that any shader matches your description, looks a particular way, or performs well on your hardware. Preview before you buy. If a generation does not compile, try again; it costs you nothing.
Do not use the service to generate content that is unlawful, do not attempt to bypass usage limits, and do not resell access to the service itself. Reselling shaders you have paid for is fine.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for loss arising from a shader failing during a performance.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and the version you accepted is recorded with each purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
